Built by an artist, Blue Skies Inn bed and breakfast was designed to complement the elegant 1873 structures at Briarhurst, the historic estate of the founder of Manitou Springs. We enjoy sharing stories about the colorful history of our Pikes Peak area and of the adventurous early pioneers who settled here.

Towering willows and cottonwoods grow on the shady banks of Fountain Creek, the year round stream (full of fish!) which runs southerly through our site. Downtown Manitou Springs, with its charming shops and Victorian architecture, is an easy stroll, just two blocks away.
Our grounds feature lawns, lush flower gardens, a charming gazebo with hot tub, and rushing waterfall in our shady Secret Garden which is a romantic setting for many small weddings and elopements. Our red rock hillsides covered with hundred year-old scrub oak saw Ute Indians camping here. |
